The South West Community Chaplaincy (SWCC) serves faith-based community chaplaincy projects in the South West geographical area. We support people of any faith or no faith. Our mission is to help local projects operate effectively by centralising administrative overheads such as:
- Working to obtain appropriate Charity Status
- Raising funds
- Providing best practice management
Our purpose is to empower local projects so that they can focus on their community work with a minimum of legal and administrative overhead. In so doing, we will help to reduce re-offending by working with people who have life disrupting circumstances. To that end the local projects and we will co-operate with and work alongside NOMS / ROMS and other organisations.
